CONSUMER INFORMATION

Dr.sc. Shinji Makino (1942 — 2021)

Prof. Dr.sc. Shinji Makino

Founder of IBE© and developer of the PI®-Technology

  • Dr.sc. Shinji Makino was born 1942 in the Aichi (Japan) prefecture.
  • He studied at the University of Tohoku and Nagoya.
  • 1975 he founded the IBE© company: Developement and application of the PI®-Water system in health and fitness sector, biotechnology, agriculture and fishing industry.
  • Since 1995 he was the chair of the Association for Research and Propagation of Bio Energy Systems.
At that time he published his two books: “PI-WATER : THE WATER OF LIFE” and “THE MIRACLE OF PI-WATER — The revolutionary technology of water that will save our planet and its people”.

The name PI®

Sumerer Keilschrift Zeichen PI
A symbol for PI® already appeared over 5000 years ago among the Sumerians, who are the most ancient historical civilisation known of to date. In the middle of the 4th Century BC, they wandered from the east or southeast to southern Mesopotamia. In their cuneiform (wedge-shaped) writing, a symbol pronounced ‘pi’, meant vital energy.

The discovery

Japanese scientists Prof. Shoi Yamashita and his former assistent Dr. Shinji Makino did an initial research of plant cell- and water-physiology.

In 1964 they discovered that the “living water” in plants is considerably different from common drinking and spring water in respect to its biological and physical properties and it is very similar to endogenous cell water.

As the international research gained more and more insight into the functional correlations and importance of water in health and vigour, it was possible to formulate the much accurate criteria for healthy water.

Due the increasing contamination of the natural water circle Prof. Shoi Yamashita and Dr. Shinji Makino pushed their research a step further. Their goal was to process a regular tap water the way it becomes a living and cell-conform water again — a PI®-Water of the same quality as produced by nature itself.

Holistic observation with empathy towards nature was always distinctive for Japanese culture. This fact was very important for the of PI®-Water technology development.

After years of experiments, tests and improvements they developed a process using selected natural materials. The PI®-Water Technology replicates the optimal purification and energisation of water which corresponds in miniature to the original process in the untouched nature.

Prof. Shoi YAMASHITA called the newly discovered living water “PI®-Water”; in 1985 this name was protected
worldwide by a trademark.
