Drinking volume

The correct drinking volume

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends drinking at least 30 millilitres of pure water per kilogram of body weight on a daily basis in order to maintain lifelong health.

Examples:
60 kilograms of body weight x 0.03 litres = 1.8 litres per day
75 kilograms of body weight x 0.03 litres = 2.25 litres per day
90 kilograms of body weight x 0.03 litres = 2.7 litres per day
An additional glass of water should be consumed for every cup of coffee and black tea and every glass of wine.
