PI® Direct Flow reverse osmosis 300 and 300 UV

The PI® direct flow reverse osmosis 300 is the first phase of the PI®-Power Compact water treatment process. We recommend to use it in connection with the PI®-Cell Vitalizer only.

The PI® Direct Flow reverse osmosis 300 is a high tech water purification system with exceptionally efficient pure water production in compact size. The purification is a two step process:

  1. Prefiltration
  2. Pure water production by the means of two high-efficient, ultra fine type 150 GDP membranes.

All plastics in use are guaranteed free from so called plasticizers (phtalates), bispehnol A (hormones), acetaldehyde and antimony (certificates available upon request).

For maximizing the efficiency of the water production and prolonging the lifespan of the membranes, the incoming water is purified from mechanical coarse contaminants. Right after it is additionally cleared from possible unwanted chemical substances by an active carbon block filter.
According to the DIN-standard DIN EN 806–5:2012–04 the pre-fitler-set has to be replaced every 6 months or already after processing 9.000 l of the incoming water.

    PI® reverse osmosis 300 membranes

PI® Direct Flow reverse osmosis 300 uses two high-efficient TFC (thin film composite) type 150 GDP membranes  by Applied Membranes Inc. These membranes provide at a working pressure of 9,5 bar a near 100% purification of the incoming water while producing an exceptionally low waster water volume.

The membranes are semipermeable: Only molecules equal or smaller as the water molecule can pass through the fine pores (0,0001 µm = atomic size). All larger pollutants are disposed with the waste water.

The membranes has to be replaced based on experience every 3–4 years.

    Optional equipment

If the incoming water’s pollution reaches the limits, we recommend an implementation of additional filters into the PI®-Power Compact system. For example the Antiglyphosat filter-set or the Antiglyphosat filter strong will be added after the PI® Direct Flow reverse osmosis (1), or otherwise prior to the PI® Direct Flow reverse osmosis (2). These additional filters not only ensure a high water quality, but protect the membranes from to much strain and thus prolong their lifespan.

On top of the previously mentioned Antiglyphosat fitler following filters are available. Those will be all connected prior to the PI® direct flow reverse osmosis:
